Q: Hi! Can you tell us about your musical journey and how you got started in the industry?
A: I’ve always been a huge fan of all genres of music. When I was young, it was my dream to own a big record label and studio. I started listening to EDM mainly trace when I was younger and one of my friends introduced me to Fruity Loops 3 (now FL studios) and I bought the program and started messing around. Back then I was only making beats and loops. I slowly progressed into what is now my current music career. To be 100% honest, it was never my intention to release any of my songs. I was just producing music for fun but now, I can’t stop.
Q: What inspired you to create your new song “Faded”?
A: I love all of Alan Walker’s work, especially Faded. The song resonates with me dearly and I realized I have to pay tribute to Alan Walker and his fans by creating my own cover of the song.
Q: What message or emotions are you trying to convey through “Faded”?
A: The message I would like to convey with my rendition of Faded is one of happiness and love.
Q: How was working with KEL?
A: KEL is very talented and very professional. It was an honor and a privilege working with her and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Q: How has your personal experiences or influences shaped your music career and the creation of this song?
A: looking back at where I started and where I am today, I see that my music, my fanbase and my love have all grown at the same rate. I feel more in tuned with the music community and hope to do more shows in the coming future.
Q: Can you share any interesting or memorable moments from the process of recording “Faded”?
A: One thing that was really memorable in the process of producing my cover is the long nights. I remember staying up late trying to get everything perfect while producing for other artists as well. In the process if making Faded, one of my friends hit me up and asked me if I could mix and master one of his songs. I started doing that and before I knew it, I was ghost producing for other artists as well. I love it.
Q: As an artist, what do you hope listeners will take away from “Faded” and your music in general?
A: Music is the one language that has no boundaries. You can listen to a song in a different language where you don’t understand the words and it can make you dance, cry, happy, sad, angry, etc. Music brings out so many emotions and that’s really what I want to bring to my listeners a sense of community and love regardless of where you are in the world, what you do and what you believe in.
Q: What challenges have you faced in your music career, and how have you overcome them?
A: I have faced many challenges and continue to over come them every day, from trying to get big name artists to listen to my music, to being able to play at shows and festivals, to picking the right style of music to produce, to picking a good vocalists to work with. It’s a big ebb and flow just like life and I love it. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Q: What are your plans and aspirations for the future in terms of your music and career?
A: I plan on making more music and starting to tour more and play more shows. Continue to ghost produce as I am now. Ultimately, I want to play festivals and hopefully a residency in Las Vegas.
