Indie-pop singer-songwriter Ella Vos blazed onto the scene with her breakout hit “White Noise”, and ever since then she’s been racking up acclaim for her stunning soundscapes and infectious honesty. From sharing her struggles with cancer to the pain of postpartum depression, Vos has been a lighthouse for fans who dare to be vulnerable.
Vos’ latest output is “Salty”, a meeting of minds along with indie kingpin Tei Shi. Melding their distinct styles into a hotpot of celestial vocals, addictive guitar riffs, and sparkling synths – the two did the damn thing. Playing off of each other’s artistic prowess, this track sets the tone for the rest of Vos’ forthcoming album.
Superglue has been dreamed up along with producer-songwriter Max Hershenow, who’s lent his song-crafting chops to the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen and MS MR, to name a few. Another of the project’s contributors, Tommy English, has worked with both Kacey Musgraves and Noah Cyrus; there’s no doubt that Vos is in good hands. Full of chart-topping potential, and grounded in the artist’s profound intimacy, Superglue is sure to be a triumph.
